Catherine Mattice, MA, is the President of Civility Partners, LLC  and co-author of Back Off! Your Kick-Ass Guide to Ending Bullying at Work. Through Civility Partners, Mattice focuses on helping organizations eradicate negative behaviors by replacing them with positive ones.

Catherine has had the pleasure of helping organizations like the American Red Cross, the United States Marine Corps, Kaiser Permanante, UC Irvine, and many other government, private and non-profit organizations and universities develop civil workplaces.

After dealing with a bully at work in 2004, Mattice became a subject matter expert on workplace bullying through academic research, and founded the educational website www.NoWorkplaceBullies. She has presented her research nationally and internationally; been cited in USA Today, MSNBC, and Huffington Post as an expert; appeared on NBC, ABC and FOX nationwide, and; published several articles in a variety of trade magazines.

Mattice is Past-President of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), San Diego Chapter, and active in the International Association for Workplace Bullying & Harassment (IAWBH). She is also an adjunct at National University and Southwestern College, where she teaches communication courses.
